Rates and Insurance Information
Dr. Harwood currently accepts the following insurance plans as an "IN-NETWORK" provider:
Please note that eligibility and benefits vary greatly by plan. You are responsible for verifying your coverage and paying any and all out-of-pocket costs including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. We are happy to help you navigate this process, but please understand that insurance benefits can be complicated and you are financially responsible in the event that your insurance does not cover services provided.
Self-Pay Rates
Many individuals, for various reasons, prefer to forego their insurance benefits and pay privately for psychological services. The benefits of this include not having to receive a diagnosis and not being limited in the scope or length of treatment. Dr. Harwood's self-pay rate is $150 per 50-minute individual session and $200 per 50-minute family or couples session.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. Dr. Harwood will provide this letter as part of your intake paperwork accessed through the client portal. I paper copy will be provided if requested.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
